Hopefully after all this hard work you will want to come and see something, so we try to make that as easy and pleasant as possible too.

 Schedule/Programme

The printed programme is usually out about 3 weeks before the festival, but we usually have a version online earlier for the really keen people.

 Where?

Well apart from being in Luton, Filmstock happens primarily at The Hat Factory (LU1 2EY). This is the festival centre and about 90% of the screenings take place here. We have a main screen, an intimate basement screen and the festival bar/lounge, which we install every year - just for you.

 Tickets

There is a pass for the festival that gets you in to everything. And it usually works out about 10 pence per film. Pass details will be confirmed nearer the time, variations in passes occur, but there are some constants:

1. If you have a film at the festival you do not pay.
2. We try to immortalise all our visitors in some form or another,     sometimes polaroids, sometimes handprints, some way to unite     everyone.
3. Part of the ticket money goes towards neutralising our carbon
emissions and planting trees around the world.

 Comfort

The Filmstock bar area is open throughout the festival as a place to hang out, there is always something on and you are welcome to make it your home for the duration.

At the end of each evening there is usually some sort of gathering at the festival centre or at a restaurant where mucho food is consumed and we talk on until the early hours. Everyone is always welcome.
